Used this case with 2tb NVMe SSD on a 2019 iMac took it from a modestly fast computer to blistering speed. Amazing change. Highly recommended

Works well, as stated. It’s the bottleneck for any faster SSD that you insert - but I already knew that. The inserted Samsung 980 has a lot more to offer, but I’m happy, until a speedier 'same form' case comes along. Delivery time was excellent from MFA.

Great Unit - Works well with the SSD I've used AND it doesn't even get hot.

I'm using this on my 2020 iMac, whose 512 GB internal SSD was filling up, to relocate my complete User Profile home directory, including big iCloud and Dropbox contents to a and fast 4 TB SSD. Great performance and it stays nice and cool. Machine is performing really well, and my worries about it becoming hot, given it's got my User Profile Home directory on it, haven't been a problem. It's barely warm to touch. Great little unit, highly recommended.
