Every AirPods earpiece and charging case has a unique model number starting with the letter A. Use any of the 3 methods below to find yours.
Hold the earpiece with the stem pointing down. Look at the flat inner surface of the stem — you'll see a tiny grey number starting with A (e.g. A2931).
Left and right earpieces have different model numbers — you only need one for a replacement.
Open the lid of your charging case and look at the inside of the lid near the hinge. The model number is printed in small text there.
Make sure your AirPods are connected via Bluetooth, then try either:
