Designed for 4K video editing and streaming, the enclosure supports up to five 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives in hardware-controlled RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, Single Disk, and JBOD configuration with a maximum throughput of up to 1035 MB/s MB/s in RAID 0 over your Thunderbolt 3 connection. You can expand your capacity further by daisy chaining up to six compatible devices together using the second Thunderbolt 3 port. Featuring two built-in 80mm temperature-controlled smart fans, this portable Windows and Mac-compatible aluminum desktop enclosure is designed for optimal heat dissipation during long video editing projects. Additionally, a DisplayPort interface is available for connecting external 4K monitors directly to the enclosure for large projects and efficient multitasking. The D5 Thunderbolt 3 supports up to three displays simultaneously.

 

High Capacity

The D5 Thunderbolt 3 supports up to five 2.5" and 3.5" drives for a maximum capacity of 80TB. Up to six Thunderbolt 3 devices can be daisy chained together.

 

Professional-Grade Speed

The high-speed RAID enclosure transfers data at up to 1035 MB/s in RAID 0 with a write speed of up to 850 MB/s over your 40 GB/s Thunderbolt 3 connection. Speeds of up to 1400 MB/s can be achieved in RAID 5.

 

Multi-Display Support

Up to three displays can be connected to the D5 Thunderbolt 3 through its DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3 ports.
