Delivery problems

The Sonnet delivers its promise. But way too expensive for this product. I needed to conduct a bit more research and basically regret spending for the capability.
There is only the one Thunderbolt though port so it's an extra nvme or display not both.
A HDMI and DP port would be essential for good flexilbilty.

But the most disappointing part of the whole exercise was the delivery. Fully two weeks from order to collection. It seems Team Global Express is not fit for purpose for this small item. The website was almost derelict in useful information. The delivery date remained Oct 14th when I picked it up on Oct 17. There was no notification of a scheduled delivery that had been planned for Oct 18. I had no idea. It took some time but i managed to pick the item up myself from their depot. Most of that information was only gleaned on pick up. I had no confidence in the delivery at all.
To add to the story a signature would have been required for delivery. As it happened I was planned to be away from home. So yet another delay would have occurred.
So a disappointing outcome all around.

Regarding the unit itself no issue with MacFixit. Poor research on my behalf. But the delivery exercise was poorly handled and as a result I'm reluctant to deal with MacFixit again. Not because of your products but the delivery.
