Overview
Combining great performance with plenty of capacity for large projects, the PROMISE Pegasus32 R8 series RAID storage system brings the power of Thunderbolt 3 technology to a wide range of Mac users. Use a single port and cable to connect Thunderbolt 3-enabled Macs at 40 Gbps or Macs with USB-C at 10 Gbps, while also getting the safety and security of full-featured hardware RAID protection. Now you can power your Mac through the Thunderbolt port and connect to high-res 8k displays directly via the DP1.4 port.
The Pegasus32 R8 is ready to use out-of-the-box, with the 16TB model offering eight 2TB SATA SSD drives and include Promise Utility for setup, management, and monitoring.
