Over a decade after the original Thunderbolt Station redefined what was possible via a single Thunderbolt connection, the TS5 Plus has built on previous generations to offer the ultimate docking station experience. Thunderbolt users no longer need to compromise when it comes to connectivity.
The TS5 Plus features 140W power delivery for even the most demanding of laptops. This makes it ideal for host devices like the 16” MacBook Pro with M3/M4 Pro or Max chips that require 140W.
The TS5 Plus features 3x Thunderbolt 5 80Gb/s ports with support for Bandwidth Boost. This will provide up to 120Gb/s bandwidth for even the most demanding displays.
The built-in 10 Gigabit Ethernet2 port is a powerful addition to an already powerful device. 10GbE is 10X faster than traditional 1GbE found in the vast majority of docks on the market. Users with 10GbE networks will be able to expand their workflows on their Thunderbolt equipped Macs and PCs. The 10GbE port is of course backwards compatible with 1GbE, 2.5GbE, and 5GbE.
When we say the TS5 Plus is the most powerful dock we are not kidding. The TS5 Plus features not one but 3x 36W Type-C ports. One of the front USB-C ports provides up to 36W, and the 2x downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports provide up to 36W for charging power hungry devices.
There are a total of 10x USB ports on the TS5 Plus. This includes 5x USB-A 10Gb/s ports, and 5x USB-C 10Gb/s ports.
For the first time on a Thunderbolt dock, the TS5 Plus features Dual USB Controllers3 which allow the dock to offer vastly significant USB performance.
When connecting displays to the TS5 Plus, the dock supports up to dual 4K 240Hz displays on Macs that support these resolutions. On supported Windows Thunderbolt 5 PCs, the TS5 Plus supports up to triple 4K 144Hz displays1.
The TS5 Plus is compatible with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, USB4 and USB4 v2 Macs and PCs. It is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Macs. For maximum functionality the TS5 Plus should be used with a Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 v2 host computer.

1 Up to Dual 4K 240Hz resolution is supported on compatible macOS & Windows computers that support that resolution. Triple displays on Windows requires a compatible Thunderbolt 5 host computer. macOS does not support Triple displays via a Thunderbolt 5 connection.

Additional Information
- The TS5 Plus is not compatible with USB-C host computers such as USB-C laptops, USB-C tablets, and USB-C phones. You can of course use USB-C accessories with the TS5 Plus.
- The TS5 Plus is not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Windows PCs.
