Description

The CalDigit Element 5 Hub (E5) is a truly unique device. It features more ports than any other Thunderbolt hub. It does this while also maintaining the exact same compact size as the previous Thunderbolt 4 Element Hub. With a wide selection of powerful ports, it is an ideal solution for expanding workflows, while taking up minimal desk space.

Even though the device is compact, it includes features found in high-end docks, such as 90W of consistent host charging, up to 120Gb/s connectivity, and support for up to 3 displays on supported Windows Thunderbolt 5 PCs. Connect what you need, when you need.

The Element 5 Hub is compatible with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4, USB4 v2, and USB-C devices. This also includes USB-C or Thunderbolt iPads, iPhones, Windows tablets, and more*.

Featuring 4x Thunderbolt 5 ports, 3x USB-A (10 Gb/s) ports, and 2x USB-C (10Gb/s), the Element 5 Hub offers powerful connectivity in a small package. The power supply included with the Element 5 Hub is 42% smaller than the previous generation, making it better to travel with than ever.

On macOS, the Element 5 Hub can connect up to dual 6K or 8K 60Hz extended displays on Macs with dual display support over a single Thunderbolt connection. (M4 Thunderbolt 5 Macs do not support triple displays via a single Thunderbolt 5 connection).

On Windows Thunderbolt 5 PCs, the Element 5 Hub can support up to 3 external extended displays as long as the PC supports this configuration. Windows Thunderbolt 4 PCs can connect up to 2 extended displays pending support from the computer.

When it comes to power delivery, the Element 5 Hub can charge devices at up to 90W, and thanks to the included 180W power supply, the hub can constantly provide this power, unlike with other hubs. The downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports can provide up to 15W, and the USB ports can supply up to 7.5W of power at all times. The offline charging functionality of the Element 5 Hub allows users to charge all of their devices even when the hub is not connected to a host computer.

*Users on Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C host computers, tablets, or phones will see reduced functionality. Thunderbolt 3 Windows PCs are not supported.
