Built for Thunderbolt and USB-C ecosystems, this enclosure delivers ultra-fast data transfer rates while maintaining consistent performance during extended workloads.

Featuring Thunderbolt 5/4/3 and USB4 backward compatibility, the TBU405Pro supports a wide range of modern and legacy devices, making it ideal for creators, engineers, and power users working with large files, high-resolution video, and demanding applications.

Powered by the Intel JHL7440 intelligent controller, this enclosure supports transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps, enabling rapid file movement and efficient workflow optimisation. In Acasis laboratory testing using a Samsung 980 Pro SSD and MacBook Pro, read and write speeds reached up to 2805MB/s and 2734MB/s, respectively. Actual performance may vary depending on SSD, system configuration, and operating environment.

Thermal management is a key advantage of the TBU405Pro. It features a built-in silent cooling fan, aluminium alloy housing with a corrugated surface, high-quality thermal pads, and internal airflow optimisation. According to Acasis laboratory testing, after one hour of continuous operation, the internal SSD temperature remained as low as 35°C, helping protect data integrity and prolong SSD lifespan.

The enclosure supports up to 8TB M.2 NVMe SSDs and accommodates M-key and B+M-key PCIe NVMe drives. Installation is completely tool-free, eliminating screws and drivers for a true plug-and-play experience. No external power supply is required.

Compact and lightweight, the enclosure is approximately the size of a smartphone, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag for mobile workflows. Whether you are transferring large datasets, editing video, or expanding high-speed storage, the Acasis TBU405Pro provides a reliable and efficient solution.
