After upgrading the SSD, reinstalling macOS is required. Follow these steps to complete the process:
Prepare: Use a Mac running macOS Ventura or later, install Apple Configurator from the App Store, and connect with a USB-C cable.
Connect: Power off the Mac mini M4 Pro and connect it to your second Mac using the middle USB-C port (when facing the back).
Enter DFU Mode: Unplug power → press and hold the Power button → plug in power while holding → wait 10 seconds → release.
Restore: In Apple Configurator, right-click the Mac mini, select Restore, and confirm.
Wait: Let the restore complete—macOS will be automatically reinstalled. ✅
