Consolidate storage and streamline your workflow with the G-RAID Shuttle SSD 8TB 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array from SanDisk. Utilizing eight 3.5" drive bays, this RAID array houses one 1TB SSD in each bay. Preconfigured in RAID 5, the Shuttle SSD also supports RAID 0, 1, 10, and 50. A Thunderbolt 3 interface provides transfer speeds up to 2800 MB/s, and can also be used with USB 3.2 Gen 2 at lower speeds. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports can be used to daisy chain up to five devices. The SanDisk G-RAID Shuttle SSD is preconfigured for use with macOS 10.15 and later, and it can be reformatted for use with Windows 10.
Thunderbolt 3
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
