Repair terms & conditions

Your data: You are responsible for backing up your data. Macfixit is not responsible for any loss of data during diagnosis, repair, or transit.
Shipping: Macfixit is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays caused by Australia Post or any courier while your device is in transit.
Right to refuse: Macfixit may decline, cancel, or return any device at its discretion — for example if it is beyond economical repair, contains prior third-party or counterfeit parts, or raises safety concerns.
Quotes & no-fix, no-fee: Repairs proceed only after you approve a written quote. If we cannot repair your device, you pay nothing.
Warranty: Completed repairs carry our standard repair warranty, which does not cover unrelated faults, accidental or liquid damage, or any further damage occurring after the device is returned.
Unclaimed devices: Devices not collected or paid for within 60 days of notification may incur storage fees or be recycled.
Parts: Replaced faulty parts may be retained or recycled by Macfixit unless you request their return in advance.
