Which Macs can I upgrade the memory?

Upgrading the memory of a 27-inch Apple iMac or Apple Mac Pro is possible, but only non-retina MacBook Pro models released before 2016 can have memory installed. MacBook Pro models with "Retina Display" or "Touch Bar" have memory RAM soldered onto their logic board, which makes them impossible to upgrade. Intel Mac mini desktops can also have memory RAM upgraded, however models released between 2014-2017 (Macmini7,1) and M1 Mac and M2 Mac mini models (Macmini9,1 and Mac14,12). Unfortunately, it is also not possible to upgrade the RAM of any MacBook Air model as it is soldered directly to the board to maintain a thinner and lighter design.
