I have set this disk up in RAID 1 mode, to provide 16 TB of storage with automatic duplication to the second disk. The write speed is roughly halved in this mode compared to RAID 0, but that is fine for an archive system. The disk head operations are quite noisy, but I am told this is typical of Toshiba disks and signifies a robust design. All in all, perfect for my application.

This device was easy to set up on my MacBook Pro and provides seriously fast RAID backups for my devices. Highly recommend

Recent purchases are A OK as is usual when dealing with you over quite a few years now, although thankfully a bit boring in an old fashioned way as you simply explain and perform as you say you will.
