This is a great piece of kit, simple, straightforward, works really well. Well worth the cost, to get all the extra ports, and two extra SSD slots. Macfixit provided, as always excellent advice, support and pricing. Thoroughly recommended

Great product with one minor issue - The thermal pad's

Unfortunately the included information did not properly explain how to apply the thermal pads so I, as several others have done, damaged the pads by removing the paper on both pads. It took a 3rd party Youtube Video to work it out, after I had damaged 2 of the 4 pads.

Luckily I had 2 sets in the box and only installed one NVMe stick so I guess it is back to MacFixit to order a spare for my 2nd NVMe stick when I can afford to buy one - those RAM prices….
