The Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter lets you connect a standard analog VGA monitor to a Mac Pro (2009), Mac mini (2009), iMac (2009), MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air with Mini DisplayPort. The new MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air each have a Mini DisplayPort that allows you to connect an external display or projector using an adapter. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees.

Use the Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter to connect your MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air to a standard analog monitor, projector, or LCD that uses a VGA connector or cable. Review the documentation or check with the manufacturer of your monitor to make sure you're choosing the right adapter..

This Excellent Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adaptor allows you to easily connect your Macbook DisplayPort output to any VGA Screen, Flat Panel TV or Projector, via a male to male VGA cable!

This Mini DisplayPort ver. 1.1a (male) can easily output VGA signals up to 1920 x 1200 and is a simple solution for converting Mini DisplayPort signals to any VGA device. The adaptor also fully supports DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection).

DisplayPort is the latest type of digital connection on the market and Mini Display Port Adaptors and Cables are designed to be compatible with all types of signals (VGA, DVI & HDMI). Please note: Mini Display Port cables and adaptors are all compatible with these signals, your Mini Display Port device, eg. laptop or video card, needs to be capable of out-putting the different types of signal. Not all Display Port devices are currently capable of outputting VGA so look for the D++ symbol on your product to ensure compatibility.
