Excellent product was very easy to install. Had a small problem and Nick S from Macfixit customer service fixed the issue and everything is now working very well.

With CD/DVD drives now defunct I put a second 500GB SSD drive in it's place. My Mid 2010 13" MacBook Pro now triple boots, El Capitan, BootCamp (Windows 7 Pro 32 bit) and High Sierra. Why have two OSX partitions? El Capitan cannot connect to Exchange Servers though Outlook anymore, High Sierra can so one drive is entertainment based, the other is business based and Windows 7 Pro? I still use sone old 16 bit DOS based programs for work which fail on Windows 32 bit in a Virtual Machine so it has to be a native Windows computer. Why keep an old MacBook Pro? It has a a Kensington Lock on it and can be left on a job site during commissioning and testing lighting control systems. A total all round computer and yes new battery in 2021 on a machine purchased in 2010. Apple is a great, long lasting and reliable product.
