MacBook Pro Memory RAM
OWC Memory Upgrades

Increase the RAM (Random Access Memory) memory in your MacBook Pro and you will increase the performance, speed and the ability to do a lot more. This is the most cost effective way to improve your MacBook Pro. More memory means your MacBook Pro can better handle multitasking between programs, perform faster during most day-to-day tasks, and it will also be less susceptible to spinning beachballs and crashes. If you work with large files or use memory-intensive applications, maxing out your RAM is a must.
OWC Memory — Is the highest quality Apple MacBook Pro RAM memory available in Australia: It is high performance and also rigorously in-house lab tested by OWC to ensure superior quality, perfect compatibility and reliability. We offer an Australian lifetime replacement warranty as well as 30 day no questions asked returns on all OWC Mac Memory upgrade and SSD products.

Why Can't I Upgrade the RAM on my MacBook Pro?
Unfortunately not all MacBook Pro models are upgradable. Starting with the “Retina Display” MacBook Pro models released in 2012, Apple began soldering the memory directly onto the board to make them thinner and lighter. Once Apple discontinued the non-Retina models in 2016, no MacBook Pro models could be upgraded after purchase. If your MacBook Pro isn't listed above, this means it is one of the more recently manufactured Mac laptops and it will not be upgradable.
Since introducing the first MacBook Pro in 2006, OWC has specialized in 100% Apple-compatible memory upgrades for any non-Retina MacBook Pro model. To make memory installation as stress-free and straightforward as possible, we offer step-by-step installation videos to walk users through the upgrade process. We also provide expert technical support to assist you if any issues arise. All OWC brand memory is thoroughly tested and assured to perform flawlessly and is covered by a Lifetime Advance Replacement Warranty and a Money-Back Guarantee.
