This unit is being used as the Time machine or backup drive for a 2018 Mac mini. Installation was very straightforward and once the mac mini was told to use it as Time machine, it was formatted and put into service..

The unit simply does it's job without any problems or fuss. It is quiet and runs cool to the extent that it is happy with the Mac mini sitting on top of it. Both units are the same size which makes for a very compact stack.

I'm very happy with this unit.

Great partner for a Mac mini.

Love the form factor, but connectivity (cable and speed) with latest Mac mini 2018 could be improved.
