I purchased these rubber doodads because, a few times too often, I lost a drive connection when plugging in or unplugging devices nearby. Even accidentally nudging a cable could cause a problem — or give me palpitations.
These doodads are good. They screw into an OWC mini stack and on other devices they can be stuck in place. They grip the plug so tightly that, in some cases, you don’t even have to peel off the wax paper covering the glue.
The only drawback is that some devices have the sockets too close together so you can only use the doodads on every second connection.
There is now less drama in my life!
