TVMini² captures your TV shows in pristine MPEG-2 digital quality, without modifying what is broadcast by TV stations (MPEG-2 is the video format used on DVDs).

Straight in Front Row

Thanks to the included MPEG-2 component you can for the first time watch your recordings immediately in Front Row or Quicktime, no other product allows you to do this (by default OS X doesnt feature MPEG-2 playback).

MPEG-2 is the digital format most TV products capture in, usually requiring an export for Front Row & Quicktime plackback which is a lengthy process.

Pristine picture quality for analog and digital

TVMini+ captures 10-bit video which is what standard definition television is broadcast in, allowing for better replication of brightness and colours and all sound is captured in stereo.

Comparible products only capture in 8-bit and with only mono sound on analog (one channel of audio instead of two like with stereo).

Digital and HD TV is captured without any modification, keeping the integrity of the MPEG-2 stream broadcast by TV stations (MPEG-2 is the video format used on DVDs).

Note about DVB-T Reception

TVMini+ integrates the award-winning technology of Miglia's TVMini product to give you the best possible reception when watching digital TV.
Please note that in some areas of the UK and France, the digital TV signal may be very poor and you will need to connect TVMini+ to a roof-top antenna to receive any or all channels. The supplied mini-antenna is suited only for digital reception.
