Every product on our website "30 DAY IRON CLAD GUARANTEE" icon online is backed by our promise that you'll be satisfied with the product or we'll take it back within 30 days. It's that simple. This covers all products on our website.

There's no need for excuses. If you buy any product on our website or catalog and decide to return it, please fill out our contact form under this link:

We will then provide you with an RA number (Return Authorisation number). Once you receive the number please return the complete, undamaged product in the original packaging for an exchange or a credit to your original form of payment. Please note that we will not process any refunds or returns without the RA number.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RETURNS:

Acceptance of returns for the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee will be at the discretion of MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd. Goods will only be accepted when MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd is notified within 30 days of the original invoice date. If the item is returned after the 30 Day Money Back Warranty and is faulty or not operational, a standard manufacturer warranty applies, which means our obligation is to repair it or replace it for you. However we will not replace an item if item has been damaged, shows signs of misuse or is damaged during transit back to us. The onus is on the purchaser to ensure the goods return to us safely.

Goods returned for credit must be in 'as new' saleable condition and complete with all manuals, components and undamaged original packaging. Any software seals (if applicable) must not have been broken.

Damaged or incomplete goods may not be credited. Acceptance of damaged or incomplete returns will be at the discretion of MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd. If accepted, there will be a restocking fee charged on damaged and incomplete goods. This charge is calculated as either an amount of $15 being a minimum charge, or 20% of the invoice value (whichever is the greater).

Goods being returned as faulty where no fault is found will incur also incur handling charge. The handling charges will be deducted from the value of the credit note or invoiced to the Buyer's account, which ever is applicable.

Acceptance of returns due to Buyer error will be at the discretion of MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd. Goods will only be accepted when MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd is notified within 30 days of the original invoice date.

Goods that have been specifically made, modified or purchased for the Buyer shall not be credited, unless there has been an error on behalf of MacFixit Australia Pty Ltd.

The 30 Day Iron Clad Guarantee does not apply to software. Software products once opened will not be exchanged or refunded, please see the Software Refund Policy below.

All returns and refunds take approximately 14 days (two weeks) to process.

The MacFixit Australia Web site were created by MacFixit Australia for the exclusive use of our customers, and are intended for research and buying purposes only. MacFixit Australia reserves the right to cancel any order without notice for any reason.

Prices & Availability

Our website is not a binding quote. Because of the fast-moving nature of the industry, prices and availability are subject to change without notice and at the time of order. We do our best to provide the most accurate, up-to-date information, but errors do occur and we reserve the right to make changes without notice. Your MacFixit Australia Account Executive will inform you when a product is not in stock or if the price has changed at the time of purchase and before we ship your product. MacFixit Australia is also unable to issue price adjustments due to manufacturer price changes after date of original sale. If the price has to be adjusted before shipping we will give you the option of canceling the order or if you if you agree to the price difference, we will ship the product right away.

Typographic, Photographic and Technical Errors

Although we do our best to achieve 100% accuracy, occasionally errors and inaccuracies do occur. Should you encounter an error or inaccuracy, please inform us so it can be corrected. Products and packaging depicted may differ from stock available at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent items. If an error is made and a product is listed at an erroneous price, MacFixit Australia may, at its discretion, refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If an order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card at the incorrect price, MacFixit Australia shall have the right to immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.

Warranty Disclaimer and Limitations on Liability:

MacFixit Australia PASSES THROUGH TO ITS CUSTOMERS ALL MANUFACTURERS' WARRANTEES AND GUARANTEES THAT ARE PROVIDED FOR THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS. MacFixit Australia MAKES NO ADDITIONAL OR INDEPENDENT WARRANTIES (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE).

Title Risk of Loss:
Title to items being purchased passes from MacFixit Australia to purchaser at the time of shipping. Customer takes on full liability for safety and validity of delivery address given to us at the time of purchase. MacFixit Australia will not incur any forwarding costs on shipments. MacFixit Australia shall not be responsible for damages or delays resulting from Acts of God, war, riot, seizure, terrorist activities, embargo, or other acts or events nothing within the reasonable control of MacFixit Australia.

MacFixit Australia, macfixit.com.au, macupgrades.com.au and their respective logos are registered trademarks of MacFixit Australia Pty. Third Party Service Contracts:
MacFixit Australia is a reseller of various service contracts issued by and performed by third party service providers. We are not the providers of the services described in those contracts, and the third party service provider is the only party responsible for performing, or arranging for performance, of those services. You agree that the third party service provider is solely responsible for fulfillment of the service obligations, and you agree that you will look only to the third party service provider for any loss, claims or damages arising from or relating to the purchase and performance of those services. You also agree to release MacFixit Australia from any and all claims arising from or relating to the purchase and performance of the services to be provided by the third party service providers. Taxes will be charged to applicable states.

International Orders
At the moment there will be no international orders taken until further notice.

MacFixit Australia policies are subject to change without notice. We do our best to ship all orders as rapidly and accurately as possible. However, MacFixit Australia is not liable for late or delayed shipments or system failures. Title to items being purchased passes from MacFixit Australia to purchaser at the time of shipping. If you purchase items for export, you must obtain from the Federal government certain export documentation. All trademarks and registered trademarks are used to benefit and without intent to infringe on the mark holder. MacFixit Australia logos are registered trademarks of MacFixit Australia Pty. Ltd.

Credit Cards:

All credit card transactions are automatically charged via our bank at time of order. We regret that charging your credit card at shipping time is currently not possible.

Shipping:

The estimated shipment times on your order and our website is based on usual product availability, payment processing time and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. The stock information on our website is an estimation only.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to deliver your Products to you within 10 working days of the date of issue of your Order Confirmation, however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.

We regret that we do not have a facility whereby faulty or incorrectly supplied goods can be picked up by Australia Post or other carriers. If a product is faulty or supplied incorrectly, we request that the customer return the product back to our office. Once the fault is confirmed, we will reimburse the customer for any shipping costs incurred.

All goods collected or received must be checked immediately on receipt. Any damage, faults, shortages or discrepancies must be advised in writing to MacFixit Australia within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Signing a carrierʼs delivery note “unchecked” does not absolve the persons receiving the goods from this condition. MacFixit Australia will not replace or refund any items that have been reported damaged after this period.

Software Refund Policy:

Accepted Circumstances:

Generally you will only be entitled to a refund if all of the following apply:

  1. The software is demonstrated to be defective or not fit for its stated purpose. Note: It is not defective simply because it is incompatible with your hardware;
  2. A defect is found and our technical support staff cannot provide a fix or work-around within 28 days;
  3. There is a defect in the software that could not be detected in the trial version; and
  4. The software has not been activated (converted from an activation code to a registration key).

If all of the above apply, contact our support team. Our support team will then ask you to fax us a signed declaration to us on (03) 8611 7907, with:

  1. A copy of your invoice - sent to you by email when you purchased.
  2. A description of the problem you found in the software.
  3. A confirmation that you have not yet activated.
  4. A copy of the license serial number(s).
  5. A signed statement that you will uninstall the software and remove it from your computer.
Please include all 5 points above in your fax.
DO NOT fax us with a refund request without prior instructions from the support team to do so.

Unaccepted Circumstances:

We generally do not refund or exchange in these circumstances:

  • At any time after activation or registration.
  • Just because you made a 'mistake' when ordering.
  • Just because you changed your mind after ordering.
  • Refunds of technical support plans just because you never ended up needing support.

General Returns Policy:

- Customer must obtain an RMA# number(Return MerchendiseAuthorisation) from our returns department before returning any merchandise. Please use the form here: http://contact.macfixit.com.au to obtain your RMA number. RMA #'s must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box when sent back to us. We will not process any returns or refunds without the RMA numberpresent with the return.

- Return RMA# authorisations do not imply automatic credit. Credit will be issued upon inspection of merchandise.

- The onus is on the purchaser to ensure the goods return safely. We recommend using registered or recorded delivery.

- All products returned must be in RE-SELLABLE CONDITION in the original manufacturer’s packaging.

- Only items listed and determined to be in RE-SELLABLE CONDITION will be credited. Items returned must arrive in new, RE-SELLABLE CONDITION with no damage or wear or missing packaging.

- DO NOT WRITE, MARK, MUTILATE OR PLACE LABELS directly on the manufacturer's box or package or any of the instruction manuals as this affects its RE-SELLABLE CONDITION.

- We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item is not in a RE-SELLABLE CONDITION. In some cases if the item is in reasonable condition but not in a
RE-SELLABLE CONDITION, we will charge a 20% restocking fee.

- All returns must be sent freight prepaid to the return departments in the originating distribution center. Products returned without a return authorization will not be accepted and will be returned at customer's expense.

- All claims must be made no later than 30 days from the invoice date. This would cover short shipments, over shipments, etc.

- All requests for returns must be made no later than 30 days from the invoice date.

- Invoice number is required.  This does not include defective product but does include sales errors.
