WE STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS WE SELL
Our "30 DAY IRON CLAD GUARANTEE" is backed by our promise that you'll be satisfied with the product or we'll take it back within 30 days. It's that simple. This covers all products on our website except software.
Online Store Returns Policy and Return Instructions:
Change of Mind Returns
We will accept change of mind returns for items purchased online by Australian customers subject to the following conditions:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt with the packing slip and/or invoice.
- You are responsible for any costs associated with returning your item to us.
- Items must be returned in otherwise unused condition, with all original tags/labels/packaging attached and undamaged.
- We will not accept change of mind returns for software, run-out or clearance items or any items purchased from the “Sale” and "Clearance" sections of our website.
- If you request an exchange, you must pay us any costs associated with us delivering the exchange item to you and, if the exchange item is of a higher value than the return item, you must also pay us the difference in price. Your exchange item will be shipped once you have paid for these costs and we have received the return item back and confirmed that it meets the above conditions.
- If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges) will be refunded to you (by us crediting your original payment method) once we have received the return item back and confirmed that it meets the above conditions.
Faulty Items Returns
- If an item is faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown then we will meet our legal obligations in the country in which the products were purchased which may include refunding the purchase price and delivery charges or providing a replacement product, provided the item is returned within a reasonable time with proof of purchase.
- We are also required under the Australian Consumer Law to tell our Australian customers that: “Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure”. Nothing in this Returns Policy in any way excludes or limits our Australian customers’ rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Return Instructions
Please follow the instructions below if you wish to return or exchange and item. You may return an item purchased online to our store/warehouse in person.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM:
Please note: Returns must be initiated by email. Please follow the below instructions:
Return By E-mail
- Please e-mail customer service from under this link with your name, order date, and sales order reference number.
- Customer Service will provide you with an RMA reference number to include in your returned item.
- If you wish to exchange for an item available online, please specify which item you would like to purchase/exchange to instead. Please note that stock availability is not guaranteed for exchanges.
- Place items you wish to return in package and return to Attention: Online Returns, Macfixit Australia, 2 Lothian Street, North Melbourne 3051, AUSTRALIA
- Please include your invoice and your return reference number in the parcel. We urge the use of registered post as a way of tracking the parcel back to us because we will not be held liable for packages lost in transt on its way to us.
- Once we have received the item and verified the return conditions are met, we will refund or exchange the full purchase price. Please allow 14 days for refunds to be made.
- Refunds will only be credited to the Credit/Eftpos card or Paypal account of the purchaser.
IN-STORE PURCHASE REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Macfixit Australia Pty Ltd will refund or exchange products other than gift cards or seconds / samples in the country in which they were purchased, subject to the following conditions:
If you change your mind:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt;
- You must provide your name and address;
- The returned items must not be software, run-out or clearance items or any items purchased from the “Sale” and "Clearance" sections of our website.
- The returned items must be returned in otherwise unused condition, with all original tags/labels/packaging attached and undamaged.
If items are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown they must be returned within the specified warranty time with proof of purchase. Unless otherwise specified all items sold on our website are covered by 12 month warranty.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
If your shipment arrives damaged: You must note the damage on the courier’s / Australia Post delivery record in accordance with the courier policy, save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, and notify Macfixit Australia / LCD Panels Australia within 24 hours to arrange for a courier / Australia Post inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify Macfixit Australia / LCD Panels Australia of damaged goods within the first 24 days of arrival, the regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and your purchase(s) will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.
Defective/Dead on arrival non-software products: Products sold on our website may be approved for return by the technical support division of Macfixit Australia / LCD Panels Australia. The return must be 100% complete, in original and resalable condition, with all original packaging, manuals, registration card(s) and software. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Shipping charges on returned products are the responsibility of the customer. Macfixit Australia / LCD Panels Australia will match the shipping method and pay for shipping charges on replacement or exchange products. All late, non-defective, and/or incomplete returns are subject to minimum 15% restocking fee. However we will reject any item that has been deemed damaged by the customer or item that has been damaged due to insufficient packing by the customer.

Our website is not a binding quote. Because of the fast-moving nature of the industry, prices, product information and availability are subject to change without notice and at the time of order. We do our best to provide the most accurate, up-to-date information, but errors do occur and we reserve the right to make changes without notice. We also reserve the right to cancel your order and refund you any money owing. Macfixit Australia is also unable to issue price adjustments due to manufacturer price changes after date of original sale. If the price has to be adjusted before shipping we will give you the option of canceling the order or if you if you agree to the price difference, we will ship the product right away.

Although we do our best to achieve 100% accuracy, occasionally errors and inaccuracies do occur. Should you encounter an error or inaccuracy, please inform us so it can be corrected. Products and packaging depicted may differ from stock available at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent items. If an error is made and a product is listed at an erroneous price, Macfixit Australia may, at its discretion, refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If an order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card at the incorrect price, Macfixit Australia shall have the right to immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.

Title Risk of Loss:
Title to items being purchased passes from Macfixit Australia to purchaser at the time of shipping. Customer takes on full liability for safety and validity of delivery address given to us at the time of purchase. Macfixit Australia will not incur any forwarding costs on shipments. Macfixit Australia shall not be responsible for damages or delays resulting from Acts of God, war, riot, seizure, terrorist activities, embargo, or other acts or events nothing within the reasonable control of Macfixit Australia.

International Orders
At the moment there will be no international orders taken until further notice.

Shipping:
The estimated shipment times on your order and our website is based on usual product availability, payment processing time and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. The stock information on our website is an estimation only.
We will use our reasonable endeavours to deliver your Products to you within 10 working days of the date of issue of your Order Confirmation, however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.
We regret that we do not have a facility whereby faulty or incorrectly supplied goods can be picked up by Australia Post or other carriers. If a product is faulty or supplied incorrectly, we request that the customer return the product back to our office. All goods collected or received must be checked immediately on receipt.
